The MCD Tester uses two sets of sockets to power and illuminate single or multiple through hole LED devices at specific current ratings.

The top row of sockets power 2 leaded devices from 2mA ~ 30mA

The bottom set of sockets power 3 & 4 leaded devices either Cathode Common or Anode Common from 20mA ~ 150mA

Icons advise correct polarity and component placement.

An LED indicator lights when the test button is depressed advising the operator of positive electron flow.

The device comes assembled with a battery installed in a high impact plastic case.
